PUBS AND FOOD

There are many pubs and restaurants in and around Bakewell, all within easy walking distance of Everton.  Our 'local" (The Manners) is just a few hundred metres away and serves good food in friendly surroundings.

just a little bit further down the road (next to the Rutland hotel) is a great micro pub, The Joiners Arms, which has open mic & jam sessions, and has also earned a spot in the Camra good beer guide!

Another family favourite is The Woodyard which has a lovely garden by the river (make sure you book in holiday season) and they even do great pizza to take away!

BAKEWELL CENTRE

Lots of tea rooms, pubs and restaurants, street market on Mondays, numerous well stocked outdoor shops, and lovely gardens to explore.

We are very lucky that we are positioned opposite the wonderful Bakewell Recreation Park which is great for dog owners and allows a lovely off-street stroll into the centre of town.

Its a bit of a well kept secret but there is also a gym, and a 20 metre swimming pool in the centre of Bakewell open every day for all ages and capabilities - great for those days when the weather is not so good!
